Housing Plan Centers Around Rail Lines
from Daily News Transcript
"As part of an effort to promote "smart growth" around transportation centers, Romney administration officials later this month will unveil plans that could produce up to 10,000 new housing units throughout the state.
In a meeting yesterday with the Daily News editorial board, Doug Foy, secretary of commonwealth development, said the state will release plans for more than two dozen projects, including ones centered around rail lines in Ashland, West Newton and possibly Westborough, by Thanksgiving."
