The MBTA's "A Line"
The MBTA subway system in Boston has 4 major lines. The Green Line (and the Mattapan portion of the Red Line) still use trolleys. The Green Line has 4 branches; the B, C, D, and E Lines. But what happened to the A Line? It actually went out to Watertown (our hometown) via Kenmore and Oak Square, but was "temporarily" closed in 1969.
