Alf is Back and Better Than Ever!



The truly pathetic can rejoice: Alf is making another comeback...beyond overpriced collect-calls commercials. The loveable (?) alien from Melmac landed a pilot on Nickelodeon due to the incessant whining of over 7,000 dorks who signed an online petition, quite possibly the first time a petition has ever worked with network execs (Farscape? Xena anyone?)

Of course, E! Online caught onto the revamping of Alf and decided to do an article which of course Yahpoo posted, almost two months after the pilot was shot.

I always found Alf was funny but not ha-ha funny. Beyond the first hundred times I snickered at jokes about eating cats (get it? get it?), I found myself quickly shutting off the TV at Monday at 7:59. When I found out that Jm J. Bullock was added to the cast, I knew I was smart to bail. The only question left is if this show is successful, which gay, quasi-celebrity will join the cast to spice things up? I heard this guy will be looking for work and is particularly good with children.
