Lake Hollywood: The Sawin's Pond of Los Angeles?
Yesterday crazywriterinla, redniyte, and I went to Lake Hollywood Reservoir, which supplies Los Angeles with its drinking water. It is a beautiful piece of nature in the middle of the 'hood. Here is a Lake Hollywood Reservoir website to tide you over- pics by me and a full report coming soon.

This place was seriously a lost treasure...having lived here for five years I've never known exactly where it was. The walk was beautiful, weather great and the pictures came out fantastically.
